Hi there, I’m Tami
With over two decades in design, I’ve had the joy of creating hundreds of products for brands like Target, HomeGoods, and Papyrus. Those years of experience taught me so much about crafting beautiful things with heart. I now bring that passion to Tami O’Malley Design, creating functional, thoughtful interior design for families throughout the Chicago suburbs and beyond.
As a mom of two young daughters, I know how essential it is to design spaces that are both beautiful and practical. My style blends timeless, minimalistic designs with modern and vintage elements, with just a touch of whimsy. I absolutely love working with textiles and materials, always seeking pieces that feel meaningful and unique.
At the core of my design philosophy is the belief that every home should joyfully reflect the people who live there. Whether it’s creating a cozy reading nook for your kids, a kitchen that balances style with practicality, or a peaceful bedroom retreat, I’m here to help bring your vision to life in a way that feels effortless and natural.

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me treasure-hunting for that perfect piece, tending to my garden, perfecting my sourdough recipes, or unwinding with a glass of red wine. These little passions remind me that the best things in life are worth the time and love they take.
